Glucosinolates profile of Arabidopsis thaliana modified root colonization of Trichoderma species

چکیده

Trichoderma is a genus of filamentous fungi with highly beneficial species for use in agriculture due to its ability combat disease, increase growth, tolerance abiotic stresses and resistance biotic plants. To do this, must effectively colonize the roots plant, being able overcome existing plant defenses. In this sense, glucosinolates (GSLs) are group secondary metabolites present cruciferous dishes such as Arabidopsis thaliana great antimicrobial capacity. order determine effect A. thaliana-roots GSLs profile colonization, we have used different mutants (cyp: absent indolic GSLs; myb: aliphatic QKO: atr1D: which hyperacumulates GSLs) inoculated them harzianum T. parareesei. The results showed how from IGSLs an occurs levels root colonization Trichoderma, without observing differences rest mutants. This increased by formation siliques systemic against Botrytis cinerea mediated jasmonic acid, more significant harzianum; addition salinity drought, Therefore, presence plants, thaliana, inhibits Trichoderma's reducing fungus's productivity, stresses.

Variability of aliphatic glucosinolates in Arabidopsis thaliana (L.) – Impact on glucosinolate profile and insect resistance

The glucosinolate(GS)-myrosinase system of Brassicaceae, including the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana (L.), comprises a defence which is effective especially against generalist herbivores. Based on their side chain structure GS are grouped into aliphatic, aromatic, and indolyl GS. Indolyl GS are widely distributed among A. thaliana ecotypes and the Brassicaceae family, but the presence of ali...

Glucosinolates are produced in trichomes of Arabidopsis thaliana

Glucosinolates (GS) are important plant secondary metabolites in plant resistance to herbivores, bacteria, and fungi, which have been shown to be accumulating in different organs and tissue types at varying concentrations. There are more than 200 GS species found in order Brassicales and presence of these compounds is well documented on organ-specific but not on cell-specific level. We used UPL...

Functional detection of chemopreventive glucosinolates in Arabidopsis thaliana.

Natural isothiocyanates, derived from glucosinolates by myrosinase-catalyzed hydrolysis, are potent chemopreventive agents that favorably modify carcinogen metabolism in mammals by inhibiting metabolic activation of carcinogens and/or by inducing carcinogen-detoxifying enzymes. Methylsulfinylalkyl isothiocyanates are potent selective inducers of mammalian Phase 2 detoxification enzymes such as ...

Cellular organisation of the Arabidopsis thaliana root.

The anatomy of the developing root of Arabidopsis is described using conventional histological techniques, scanning and transmission electron microscopy. The root meristem is derived from cells of the hypophysis and adjacent cells of the embryo proper. The postembryonic organization of the root is apparent in the mature embryo and is maintained in the growing primary root after germination. Cel...
